Industrial design is essentially the process of creating an object with an emphasis on how it is shaped and presented to the user or observer. Its goal is to provoke specific reactions, impress, create emotions and provide an experience to the user.

Through industrial design, the object does not simply function as a tool or product, but seeks to communicate with the user through design, ergonomics, colors, materials and overall aesthetics. The aim is to evoke feelings of admiration, satisfaction or even feelings related to the sense of quality and added value.

Through proper industrial design, a product can generate excitement, build relationships with users and emerge in the market as something unique, attractive and useful. Overall, industrial design looks at creating a relationship between the product and the user that goes beyond mere functionality and provides an experience.

It is an art form among mechanical engineers, incorporating technological, technical, mechanical as well as aesthetic features into objects of daily use. It creates the identity of products or companies, characterizes trends, gives prestige and also the sense of perfection to an object.
